We’re pleased to announce that works by Łukasz Stokłosa will be on view at his solo show in Bunkier Sztuki in Kraków, Poland, beginning 28 January 2026.
The exhibition will present a diverse range of works by Stokłosa, one of the most intriguing painters of the current generation. A graduate of the Kraków Academy of the Fine Arts, he works with figurative painting, drawing inspiration from mass culture, film, and TV. He is particularly drawn towards camp aesthetics, and his paintings — full of tension and mystery — attract and haunt the viewer simultaneously. Multilayered, they often blur the lines between beauty and kitsch, with a hidden depth, reminiscent of noir film stills.
